This choice is a little biased because Toad is my favorite band. Toad is a mellow alt. rock group with a catchy sound. The lyrics are the best, they make you really think about life in general. Toad is very cool music to listen to when your with a girl with whom you are close (a soul-mate type person, so to speak). Toad is dangerous to listen to when you're drunk, you will find a deeper meaning to life, and if you're drunk with a girl listening to Toad you're sure to hook-up. Even though they're broke up I suggest you check them out. Also, look for lead singer Glen Phillip's solo project. Their best albums are "Pale", "Dulcinea", and "In Light Syrup". | ||||||||||||||||

I guess that Screeching Weasel can best be described as happy punk music. It really cheers me up. It seems that they are very influenced by television, particularly Cartoon Network, but then again aren't we all. I would pick up their CD Television City Dreaming. | ||||||||||||||||

I don't think I really have to say to much about Marcy Playground. I'm sure you've probably been overexposed to "Sex and Candy", but if you don't have the entire CD, you need to get it, because it's all good. I just love their laid back, calming sound.
