Self is one of those bands that when I first heard them I thought that they must be famous notionwide. Well, to my surprise I found that they weren't. In fact, they're little known outside of Tennesee. I'm sure they'll get their break soon. I've actually had ocassion to hang out and party with lead singer "Matt" and his girlfriend "Rebecca". They are wonderful people and very down to Earth. I can best explain their music as often up beat alt. rock with sharp lyrics, and such a wide variety of sound that it leaves your mouth watering for more. Let's put it this way, Matt has created an entire album playing with mostly toy instuments. It is amazing. Check them out before everyone else does. | ||||||||||||||||

I don't think that I have to say much about Dave. This is the ultimate hook up music. In any situation with chicks around, especially if you're drinking, pop in Dave. His best album IMO is "Under the Table and Dreaming". All hail Dave. By the way he ranks pretty high on the evil factor. | ||||||||||||||||
