I can't take back the things I've done and I've lost more than the trials I've won.Yet strenghend now by my resolve to be with you as we evolve.Staring now deep in your eyes to hold you close, I feel alive. I don't know what the future holds and on the wind Fall breezes blow. As the Winter comes upon us I need something warm and honest. You look at me and I comply unspoken words with no reply. And I remember whispered words Which under moonshine barely heard. Promises of fates untold. Hopefulness of growing old. If never again I taste your kiss It's something that I've surely missed. And if our paths should go astray In my thoughts you'll ever stay. Further the distance by the miles you're closer still all the while.
